Adoration is held in the Mary, Mother of God Chapel, which is accessible through the southeast entrance of the Church. Every 1st Friday of the month St. John's has an hour of Eucharistic Adoration from 5-6pm. Adoration is open for the whole parish and anyone else who would like to spend some time with Jesus Christ who is truly present in the Most Holy Eucharist. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available during the holy hour.
St. John’s is currently striving to increase its formation opportunities for adults. One way to do this is to form small groups of men and women who gather to discuss a spiritual book or participate in a bible study. These groups allow people to be intentional in striving to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ within the context of a community which supports them in that endeavor. Groups would be self-directed according to the desires of the group. The ultimate goal of these groups would be to strengthen and prepare the people of our parish to share the faith in word and deed with those they encounter and to give us a place to invite others who want to grow in their faith.
