How to Enroll A Child

In the north foyer of St. John the Apostle Church, there is a special Book of Remembrance in which anyone can enroll the names of children who have died. They may list the child's name, date of death or "new life in Christ," and in loving memory of the person or persons enrolling them.

The Church believes that life begins at conception. Therefore, there will be a special section in the "Book of Remembrance" for those who have lost a child through a miscarriage. The loss of a life through a miscarriage often requires Christ's touch of consolation and healing for all those who feel that loss, especially that of the mother. Notification of the enrollment can be sent to family members by providing St. John the Apostle Church with the address.

There are several ways to enroll a name. Please fill out an enrollment form available at the parish or download the link below, complete and return to the parish office. You may also return a completed form by placing it in the collection basket.
