Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation heals and mends our spiritual life by the forgiveness of our sins. It is the first healing sacrament of the Church.

Communal Penance Services are scheduled in each of the four Catholic Parishes in Minot during the Advent and Lenten Seasons. The service includes a short prayer service followed by individual confessions to be heard by five to eight priests at individual stations.

Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick is the second sacrament of healing. In this sacrament, a priest anoints the sick with oil blessed specifically for that purpose. Individual anointings are done by requesting them. “Anointing Masses” are celebrated periodically throughout the year in Minot. Times and locations will be noted in the parish bulletins or by calling the parish offices.
